What is a Public Adjuster?

A public adjuster represents the policyholder’s interests on an insurance claim.  Just as the insurance company uses employee or independent adjusters to represent the insurance company’s interests to minimize the amount paid on a claim, the policyholder in North Carolina is entitled to hire a licensed public adjuster to represent the policyholder’s interests to recover the maximum amount on a claim.

The Claim Process

Filing a claim begins the claim process.  Where it may seem so cut and dry – “just pay what it will cost to fix my house” – the claim process can have many twists and turns.

Policies can have so many clauses, conditions, exclusions, and endorsements that are primarily intended to reduce the amount paid on a claim.

A public adjuster will navigate the claim process representing the policyholder’s interests.

Hurricane Florence

Hurricane Florence caused billions of dollars in property damage to the Wilmington area.

Thank you so much. So far I have sent three more clients to you and hope they can expect the same results! I was surprised when the email [with the new offer] was sent today. You guys help folks out who get shafted by these insurance companies.
